First Choice are currently recruiting for an Ocean Import Coordinator to join a top global freight forwarder in Delaware County, MA.
You will be joining a well established, highly experienced team.
Essential Duties:
- Experience of Ocean Import procedures and documentation (A-Z).
- Negotiate rates with vendors.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Book freight with carriers and consolidators and obtain freight rates.
- Problem solve outside of normal job functions to support clients.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- A high level of energy and a "can-do" positive attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
